AIRCRAFT ACQUISITION CONSULTING

Independent Representation for Aircraft Buyers

Aircraft acquisitions involve substantial financial exposure, operational risk, and complex decision-making.

AEROMAX provides independent aircraft acquisition consulting for buyers seeking professional guidance before committing to a multi-million-dollar turbine aircraft transaction.

From preliminary aircraft review through pre-purchase inspection, escrow, closing, and delivery, AEROMAX helps the buyer ask the right questions, preserve important decision points, and identify risks before they become costly obligations.

Our objective is clear:

Identify Risk. Protect the Buyer. Provide Independent Guidance.

We represent the interests of the buyer—not the seller, broker, or dealer

Why Independent Representation Matters

Most participants in an aircraft transaction are paid when the transaction closes. That does not make them unprofessional, but it does mean their financial interests may differ from the buyer’s.

AEROMAX is retained by the buyer to provide an independent perspective on aircraft suitability, market position, documentation, transaction structure, inspection strategy, and identified risk.

With more than 32 years of experience and over 1,800 on-site aircraft appraisals worldwide, Harry Ingram has advised buyers, lenders, attorneys, corporations, government agencies, and other stakeholders on aircraft value and transaction risk.

The Proper Aircraft Acquisition Sequence

A properly structured acquisition should preserve the buyer’s ability to investigate, negotiate, and walk away before funds become nonrefundable.

AEROMAX generally encourages the following sequence:

Define the aircraft mission and acquisition criteria

Screen candidate aircraft before emotional or financial commitment

Complete preliminary Red Flag and market review

Structure the letter of intent to preserve buyer protections

Negotiate the aircraft purchase agreement before releasing a deposit

Place the deposit with an independent escrow agent under clearly defined terms

Conduct the pre-purchase inspection at an appropriately qualified facility

Review discrepancies, records, damage history, and major financial exposure

Negotiate corrective action, price adjustment, acceptance, or rejection

Confirm title, closing documents, funds flow, delivery condition, and acceptance

Close only after the agreed conditions have been satisfied

The purchase agreement is the roadmap for the transaction. Buyer protections should be negotiated before deposits become nonrefundable.

Common Risks We Help Buyers Identify

The AEROMAX Difference

Independent Buyer Representation Since 1994

AEROMAX has no aircraft inventory and no financial interest in promoting a particular aircraft.

Our role is to help the buyer make an informed decision—even when the right decision is to walk away.

We don’t buy aircraft. We don’t sell aircraft. We protect the buyer.
